Terms and Conditions of Business

BOOKING ENQUIRIES

When an enquiry is made, the date will be held for a maximum of 48 hours. If no follow up to confirm further interest is made, the date will then be released in order to allow other potential clients the chance to book.

BOOKING FORM

When a booking form is sent out, client has 48 hours in order to reply with either a signed copy or acceptance in email format of conditions. After this, alongside the deposit (if applicable), the booking is marked as confirmed and the date is no longer available to anyone other than the hiree.

DEPOSIT

In most circumstances, a deposit is taken at the time of booking confirmation. This is taken off the total amount due and is libel to cancellation conditions set out further down.

PAYMENT

Payment for the occasion can be made via bank or cash at any time prior to commencement of event. Payment plans can also be arranged. If balance is not cleared by the artist arrival time, services may be revoked.

Contracted work (eg. Hotels, resident venues) are as per prior booking conditions set out upon agreement and detailed upon each invoice. Delay in payment may result in extra charges or withdrawal of services.

CANCELLATION

In the event of services no longer being required, please contact as soon as possible so that the date can be release to other potential clients. If client contacts to inform of cancellation within 14 days of event, deposit will not be refunded.  If artist is unable to attend due to circumstances beyond their control, client will be contacted and an alternative artist will be provided unless otherwise agreed.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

All equipment is PAT tested and full public liability certificate can be provided upon request. Whilst at an event, only the artist is allowed to use the equipment. The exception to this is for Karaoke microphones but request that avoidance is advisable should any guest have an illness which can be passed on to others.

Tubsy Entertainments will not be held liable for any injury to persons, or loss or damage to property, or obstruction, trespass nuisance or interference which arises from guest or venue staff’s actions.

TAX

Any artist working for Tubsy Entertainments is responsible for their own Tax and National Insurance.

RESPECT

All guests and the artist should always be treated with mutual respect. Foul language and intimidation is not accepted on or off microphone.

ADDITIONAL

A “party” booking is for a performance time of up to five hours (e.g. 1900-0000), further hours required above this timeframe is subject to enhanced rate agreed between client and artist. Karaoke is also an additional extra fee which must be agreed prior to an event due to extra equipment & setup needed.
